| On
Monday 13th of June to Wednesday 15th of June, The Rudyard
Lake Steam Railway paid a 3 day visit to Ashorne hall in
Warwickshire, to lift 400 yards of the 12 1/4 inch gauge
line that run around the estate.
The work was
started on the Monday & by 4 o'clock Wednesday all 400 yards
of the track was lifted and stacked ready to be picked up on
Friday the 17th of June and transported to Rudyard.
The Rail
arrived at Rudyard on Saturday the 18th of June and was
unloaded by volunteers of Rudyard Lake Steam Railway.
